WHO CAN JOIN?

DeKalb County Credit Union is a community Credit Union.  Membership is available to anyone who meets the following requirements:
 

1. If you LIVE or WORK in DeKalb, Cortland, Malta, Milan, Shabbona, or Afton Townships.  Need proof of address (ie. a utility bill with your name and address showing your current address).  If proof is where you work then we need a pay stub showing your name and company name.

2. If you have an immediate family member who currently is a member.

3. If you work for one of our Separate Employment Groups.  Our Separate Employment Groups consist of General Electric, DeKalb County Teachers, DeKalb County Postal Employees, City of DeKalb, Kishwaukee College, LAIDLAW-Branch #486 and DeKalb Sanitary District.
    

We believe in the old Credit Union philosophy, Once a member, always a member.  Even if your situation changes and you no longer meet our eligibility guidelines, we would love you to keep your membership with us.  We have several members who keep us as their primary financial institution even after moving out of town and even out of state.
